Morre em 16 de maio de 2010, aos 67 anos, Ronald Podavona. Mais conhecido como Ronnie James Dio, uma das maiores vozes do Metal.

Ele foi vocalista de duas grandes bandas, o RAINBOW e o BLACK SABBATH e faleceu às 7:45 h da manhã nos EUA de câncer de estômago.

Apelidado de "homem das amídalas de aço", pela potência de sua voz, foi uma forte influência para inúmeros fãs e cantores de Rock/Hard/Heavy Metal por várias gerações.

Quem conhece o seu trabalho, carisma... Quem já ouviu a melodia e a potência do seu canto sabe a falta que este mito já está fazendo.
